Hi I’m Lysette, a self confessed cake addict and founder of The Couture Baker! The Couture Baker was dreamt up in my little kitchen in Essex in 2014 where I started making cakes professionally after the demands for wedding and celebration cakes grew beyond family and friends. My penchant for all things sweet has been influenced by my mother who taught me the fundamentals of cake baking from a young age. These essential baking skills married with the creativity of my fashion design degree (not to mention my sweet tooth) proved to be a match made in heaven and ultimately The Couture Baker was born.
