The Couture Baker was dreamt up in a tiny little kitchen in Essex in 2014 by founder Lysette Preston who started making cakes professionally after the demands for wedding and celebration cakes grew beyond family and friends. Lysette's penchant for all things sweet was influenced by her mother who taught her the fundamentals of cake baking from a young age. These essential baking skills married with the creativity of Lysette's fashion design degree proved to be a match made in heaven and ultimately The Couture Baker was born! What was once a tiny little kitchen is now rather large and The Couture Baker is proud to be recommended supplier for Braxted Park Estate, Leez Priory and receommended by Hutton Hall.
